Ross Franklin
I’m the founder and CEO of Pure Green Franchise. I started the company in New York City in 2014 because I had spent more than a decade in fitness watching people train hard and struggle with what to eat. I wanted to make better nutrition an easier part of everyday life.
Pure Green has 200+ locations open or in development across 25+ states, with products trusted by athletes across the NBA, NFL, NHL & MLB. We built it without venture capital or private equity.
I wrote The Founder Success Formula, host the Pure Green Podcast, and speak about franchising and mission-led leadership.

The fitness years
Started as a certified personal trainer, then spent over a decade managing and scaling premium fitness clubs and boutique wellness brands, including The Sports Center at Chelsea Piers in New York. Rebuilding clients' nutrition produced the transformations training alone never did, and strengthened his conviction that better nutrition belongs at the center of everyday life.
October 2014
Pure Green opens in New York City
Opened the first Pure Green in Manhattan — cold-pressed juice, superfood smoothies, and açaí bowls made to order.
2016
Wholesale division
Launched wholesale, which now supplies thousands of accounts. This became the structural advantage behind the franchise: because Pure Green produces and delivers cold-pressed juice centrally, franchisees do not build juice manufacturing into each store — smaller footprints, lower labor.
2021

Published The Founder Success Formula, a #1 Amazon bestseller in business categories, and was named to the Forbes Next 1000.
